- This is the President shooting a rifle at a clay disc.
- The rifle doesn’t fire up to 30 rounds a minute.
- The clay disc isn’t a bunch of children trapped in classrooms or a kid being held inside an underground bunker or a student outside a school in Chicago.

This isn’t a rifle, this is a shotgun (a Browning shotgun at that). Let me worry you a little, with both barrels loaded, firing loads designed for skeet, this gun contains slightly more than 1000 projectiles. A well practised individual can fire two shots every 4 seconds, that is actually 30 rounds a minute. At around 500 projectiles per cartridge that means that in one minute the shooter can put 15,000 projectiles into a target area with reasonable accuracy.
A gun is only as scary as the media says it is, and the non scary guns (such as Mr Obama’s here) can be made to look scary with the right numbers and words. Next time, try harder. I’m English, I have no political interests in the US, I just don’t like to see people post rubbish about guns because sadly some people will believe it.
